削除できませんか？

古い2カラムのデザインに変更して、すべてを再構築すれば消すことは出来ます。

デザインのカスタマイズで、各ページHTMLの上の方にある<a name="top"></a>から</map>までをすべて消せば消えますが、規約にひっかかる恐れもあるので自己責任でお願いします＞＜

ブログの投稿画面で「カスタマイズ/管理」を選ぶと左側メニューに「デザインの設定」があるので選び、右下にカスタマイズを選択します。スタイルシート(CSS)の右隣、「トップページ」を選択すると出てくる画面にて、以下の部分を削除してください。

後は、「ブログに設定を反映（再構築）」を選択し、下の方にある「インデックス(トップの記事)」が選ばれていることを確認し、「ブログを再構築する」ボタンを押します。
「個別記事ページ」、「カテゴリアーカイブ」、「月別アーカイブ」なども同じように処理して、再構築すると良いでしょう。
