　日本にも、英語を話す外国人が多くなってきた今、英語を話せなくては生きていけない時代になっている。
　しかし、そんな時代を生きてきた私は、外国の人と英語で話したことがない。英語を使うといえば、英語の授業以外に考えたことがなかったからだ。私は、英語を使うのは授業だけではいけないと思う。世界の共通語である英語を、コミュニケーションの手段として使わなければ、言語としての意味がないからである。
　「ただ単に勉学のためだけではなく、外国の生活や文化を学びたい」そんな気持ちから、この海外研修への参加を決めた。
　今日では、戦争や拉致など、世界的な事件をよく耳にする。その反面、景気の回復など良いニュースもある。そんな良い面も悪い面も含めた、外国の文化を学び、現在の世界の状態を知りたいと思う。
　また、そんな文化を築き上げてきた人々にふれあい、外国の生活様式を理解するためにも、国境を越えて学習したいと思う。

Nowadays there comes to be a lot of foreigners who speaks English in Japan and the time is come when we can't live without speaking English.In spite of the demand, we, living in this time, have never talked to them at all because we have never thought that we can make good use of English out of our class.
I don't think that we have only to speak English in the middle of our class.It seems to make no sense that English, which is the common language of the world, is not available as a communication tool.

"I'd like not only to study their language but learn the ways and cultures of their lives in the other countries."
I've decided to take part in our study abroad programs with such a feeling.

We often hear of the worldwide affairs such as wars, abductions and stuff and we also hear the good news of recovering the business condition.I'd love to learn every aspect of their cultures, both the bitter and the sweet,and know what is going on now in the world.I hope I will come in touch with people who've builded up their own cultures and study abroad to make their styles understood.
