シューベルトの「菩提樹」からドイツ語の質問です。

これはシューベルトの「菩提樹」からです。

Ich mußt' auch heute wandern
Vorbei in tiefer Nacht,
Da hab' ich noch im Dunkeln

Die Augen zugemacht.
Und seine Zweige rauschten, 

Als riefen sie mir zu

さて、３行目の noch の解釈ですが、これは「明るい場所のみならず、暗闇までも、目を閉じてみる」の意味になるのでしょうか？

　逐語訳ですが、英語にすると、

I had to hike past also today in deep night, there I still shut the eyes in the darkness. And his/its branches rustled as they would shout me

「noch」は単純に「いまなお、相変わらず」という意味かと思いますがいかがでしょうか？

因みに、近藤朔風氏による日本語訳では、

今日もよぎりぬ　暗き小夜中（さよなか）
真闇（まやみ）に立ちて　眼（まなこ）とずれば
枝はそよぎて　語るごとし。
