A: Currently the only two options for verifying your site are to use the meta tag or HTML file verification methods. Some hosting services provide their own procedures for verification in Google Webmaster Tools. Check with your provider for more information.

メタタグをウェブマスターツールで「サイトの確認」で「メタタグを追加」を選択します。
そこで発行される「メタタグ」をデザインのカスタマイズからTOPページのheadセクション（</head>の直前）などに貼り付け、保存しデザインの反映を行うとサイトの確認が行われます。
